Unfortunately, there is no such thing. Some people do sawdust smoking in a
garbage can perforated with holes ever ten inches or so, but that is just a
cosmetic process and not a true firing process. The wares are bedded in
sawdust, which is ignited from the top and smolders down through over twelve
hours or so (ideally). But the sawdust smoking process never reaches even
minimal sintering temperatures, and the wares must be bisque-fired first.
Also, the surface effects of the sawdust firing really need to be sealed
with an archival varnish or wax.
Best wishes -

Can anyone give me a brief explanation of firing solely in a garbage can?
I believe that I've seenthat it's possible and am extremely curious. (Not
always a good thing)
