Dear Jeanne Wood,.

Thank you for that information. I have made a start. rounded the base =
both inside and out. Had to caution myself not to throw thin so at the =
moment the pot, with its lid, seems quite heavy. I reasoned that the =
clay needed to be thick to hold a lot of water.

Unless the weather makes a change I can see that firings will be =
delayed. We have a general fire ban in this area through the summer =
months but anyway, it is unpleasant to fire during hot conditions.
