I am going to be in Orlando (well, Lake Mary) all next week. Are there any
potters in the area who would be open to meeting a fellow clayartist from
Los Angeles?

Please respond to my email address directly rather than to the list. Thanks.

Richard

p.s. Hi to anyone from clayart who was active as of November, 1999 when I
deactivated due to my work schedule and other demands on my time. If
you remember the kiln I spent years designing and building I hope you'll be
happy to know that after a poor start on my first glaze load I have had two
very satisfying firings with even temperatures, beautiful copper reds all over
the kiln, and basically some pots that I'm happy to say I made and fired.

Richard,

There's Stephen Jepson Pottery in Geneva (near Sanford). Do stop in at
Axner's in Oviedo. It seems to me there was a good article in Studio Potter
a while back that featured Florida ceramicists and potters. It would be
worth seeing if you can find a copy.
Enjoy the trip

Greg

Hi,
I am in Orlando and would welcome a potter from LA. There's a pottery studio
sponsered by the City of Orlando and is opened a varied number of days and
times. Call me when you get here and I'll give you directions. We just had a
potter from San Jose here last weekend. We conducted a large pit firing with
some great results.
My number at the studio is (407) 246-3595.
Hope to see ya soon.
