Dennis...
An impressive studio/program...
How many students?

I teach part time in Pasadena, CA.
230 students/a semester...8 classes
1 - 30 cu. ft. West Coast updraft kiln - used to bisque
we fire 3-4 firings a week
1 - 30 cu. ft. Olsen updraft kiln - used to glaze - cone 10/11
we fire 6 days a week, that is six glaze firings a week...
one a day.
1 - 40 cu. ft. Olsen updraft kiln - used for charcoal firings -
a couple a month.
1 - 6 cu. ft. Skutt electric kiln - used for overload of greenware/bisque
as needed

Work moves through the studio quickly...not much space.
We mix our own clay...3-8 batches a day...so we use
about 1-2 tons of clay a week.
It is an intense place...Lots of work, a lot of feedback on
technique, and materials.
Not meant to boast...we also have five faculty members...
not just one soul doing all the work, and two-three techs.
