Allo Willy,

thank you.

I am much concerned by what is kept in the archives because thousands
of people have access to them.

Also, there are hundreds of teachers on this list and the information
they convey to their pupils and students must be of good quality.
It is a kind of "information chain reaction"

Objet : Chromium- A great response

Hello,

I thought that Edouard Bastarache's toxicology reporting was of great val=
ue.
Good job sir!!!!

E.B.>>>>The IARC(International Agency for Research on Cancer, Lyon ,Franc=
e)
has
determined that there is inadequate evidence in humans and animals for th=
e
carcinogenicity of metallic chromium and trivalent chromium
compounds(III).<<<
end

I admire this man for such great additions to the group. His work is well
researched and shows any articles which he relates back to his findings.
This
is the kind of valuable information that one must consider when deciding
whats
what in the world of chemistry and toxicology.

Group #3 is =AB Trivalent chromium compounds =BB
(Cr3+)(chromic compounds) :including chromic oxide (Cr2o3) which is green
chromic oxide, chromic sulfate, chromic chloride, chromic potassium sulfa=
te,
and chromite ore. (Edouard Bastarache)credit cited.

Please continue using your methods on here as you do. They are such valua=
ble
tools for anyone even for archival purposes and additional research. Thi=
s
type of information is easily understood....Thanks!

Also the end used is dealing with 0.5 maximum in most cases and as low as
0.15% of 1% in other cases. (Chrome/Tin Reds) The potter/mixer is the
potential candidate for any chronic/Accute effect I would believe if any.
Wear
the respirators and gloves and be happy you can make a good red. If the l=
ab
reports back a lose on any glaze above the known levels for this at this
level
please advise me. I will also give you the information as soon as the new
lab
reports are finished on the chrome I am having tested at a much higher le=
vel
for surface contact. (JEM LABS) FDA and research for food preparations an=
d
ASTM-D guide lines/methods. Also biological activity in food service are
studied there as well.
