Hi, Tom - your demo sounds like a much better way to go! I had another
thought after I wrote to the list,and that was that the show-goer (well,
some of them) may have the mindset that, because they've stood and watched
the pottery demonstration for 4, 5, 6 minutes, that they had then "wasted"
enough time on that particular exhibit, and it was now time to move on to
the next one. There ARE people like that, going from one exhibit to the
next, not really absorbing or appreciating what's in the booth, just
carrying on, "seeing" the whole show---as if doing the whole circuit was the
GOAL. Who knows..........
