there is another program worth looking into as well.... I think there are
chapters all over the U.S.
It is called Young Audiences. This is a program that brings artists from the
community into the public schools for art residencies, and it pays really
well (here in Colorado anyway... I would imagine it is pretty standard and
comparible throughout the states)

I got on with the Colorado Chapter in 2000, did one 4 week residency so far,
and am hoping for another...alot of work, but did pay well, and was great
spending time with the kids!
