I got the plans by requesting them from my local library. Copying for
"educational purposes" is not a violation they tell me. So, if anyone is
reasearching slab rollers and wants the plans, email me and I'll send along
a copy of the plans in .jpg format so you should be able to read them with
your computer browser.

I have to jump in here with the usual precautionary comment:
All though the book by the Wettlaufers and the article printed in
Ceramic's Monthly contain plans for something that was clearly intended
to be used and made, we are still talking about copyrighted material.
To copy and send to someone with no monetary goal in mind may be ok,
posting the plans on a site may be a violation of copyright.
