I was glad to here Art post that he gives pots away. I knew all along there
was a heart behind that big wind storm. sometimes it gets so windy in our
house we can see white caps in the toilet.
We often give away pots. It is one of lifes pleasures. We keep a box of
them under the counter. My favourite pots to give away are these and it
happens more than you would think.
Women enters studio, mans sits in car with motor running, she falls in love
with a pot, says I have to go ask my husband. he tells her she has enough
pottery. she comes back in with head hanging low with the word from above.
I like to tell her we want to own the pot and that the pot is a gift from
Sheila and I. It is worth it for me to wrap it up and look at the twinkle
in her eye and the look of disbelief on the knob when she takes it back to
the car.
We also like to give good kids pots. Hey they are potential customers.
