I've been using Paypal for some time. I prefer it to any other method,
because I don't have to run fetch a credit card and enter all the
numbers--I've already done that bit. You can enter the banking info or not,
as you choose.
Naturally, they prefer you to use a transfer from your checking account, as
this process is cheaper for them. Paypal does not charge for their service
to individuals.
Some people, even sellers at the auction sites, absolutely refuse to
consider listing with paypal. Bit foolish for a seller, as I routinely pass
over these items in favor of identical items which can be paid for via
paypal. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
But, that does bring up the point that some of your customers will feel the
same way. So maybe you want to offer some alternatives. I suspect offering
to accept personal checks will be good enough, as this crowd is also likely
to feel uncomfortable giving you a credit card number on-line--just my
speculation.
Naturally, listing with Paypal isn't going to be quite as convenient as
offering a shopping cart system. However, shopping carts don't seem all that
feasible to me at the moment, since I offer so many variables.

Cindy,
I'm with you in my opinion re: paypal. Love it and have never had a
problem. I have heard rumors that there is a problem w/ them, but I don't
know what the problem is, and it continues to work fine for me. :)
