I don't make, as you know, but I love tea bowls
because of the simplicity of the form. This is
not to say that there is not a zillion forms
that "simplicity" may take. Not two bowls are
the same. Just as six billion people all look
different. Apart from the occasional
Doppelganger.
Tea bowls are soothingly simple, yet deviously
complex.
