<< I have 3 mason yellow stains:
6433 Praseodymium - may be used with or without zinc
6483 not listed on two catalogs
6485 titanium yellow - can be used only as a porcelain stain
the powders of 6433 and 6483 are almost the same yellow, 6485 is a
yellow-orange

maybe the stain 6483 may have been marked wrong.

can somebody send me formulas for Yellow glazes at ^6 ? >>

My friend asked me to post this as an SOS. Please respond to Cerere@aol.com.

Thanks.

Just use your favorite Cone 6 base glaze and add 6 to 8 % of the
praseodymium stain to it. 6433 can be fired at higher temperatures without
becoming fugitive, i.e. disappearing. Mia in ABQ
