Dear Brilliant Clayarters:
A generous benefactor just dumped a big bunch of brand new Amaco
Sahara high fire glazes on us.
Is there a method to convert these glazes to
low fire---06?
It's necessary for us to do, (long story,
won't bore you here!)
Any creative solutions are needed!!!

I am totally NOT the glaze guru, but I AM the inveterate putterer, and my
suggestion to you is to doctor it up the same as we do for mason stains when
we want to use them as overglaze on lo-fire work. That would be to add GB or
a frit such as 3124(?) experimentally. And don't consider the stuff
foodsafe. You have no idea what is in it, and it won't be fired to Amaco's
specs for food safety.
