What procedures do potters employ to disspose of rinse water that contains
potassium dichromate as well as other glaze materials?
Can one evaporate the rinse water in a kiln so that just sludge remains
(which we can fire)?
Can the rinse water be treated with soda ash, or sodium bicarbonate, to
make it alkaline, and then siphoned off, leaving just the sludge to deal
with?
Thanks
Jocelyn
