To Millie whose pugged clay is playing inchworm as it extrudes....
Try setting your receiving board on rollers and let it roll with
the clay. I extrude onto a bat which is sitting on an upside down
plastic tub, which is sitting on a plastic covered table top.... the
tub slides along as the clay extrudes. Good luck, Lesley

The best solution would be a short conveyor belt set up. A loop of canvas
stretched around two spools with a table in the middle will allow the clay
to ride on the canvas with little friction.
