FireART Clayworks announces the grand opening of a new summer workshop
program. Located in Northern California near Sacramento, we offer an
ideal climate, central location and well-equipped studio facilities.
Camping is available on site.
June 9-10: Tom Coleman, “Throwing Porcelain and Firing Copper Red”.
Fee $125.00
June 18 – 22: Nan Smith, Renowned figurative installation artist, “The
Body as Index”, casting and latex molds. Fee - $385, includes
materials.
July 21-22: Eric Struck, “Throwing L-A-R-G-E”. Fee - $65. Free
samples of the new IMCO Borate will be available.
August 4-6: Ron Roy, Clayart’s glaze guru – “Glaze Calculation and
Problem Solving”. Fee $95. Bring the glaze recipe of your choice for
review and testing.
August 18-19: Sheri Leigh, “Architectural Slab Construction”. Fee
$65.00. Free samples of the new IMCO Borate will be available.
