cleaning wheels (no nils content)

Mel, et al,

I have my students clean the wheels after each use and to set a good
example I clean my as well. After each quarter we clean the wheels from
top to bottom and have never had a failure afterward that was due to
cleaning. Of course we don't flood the motors with water, no one would
do that! ;c)

I hope that none of my students read your posts about not cleaning the
wheels. The clay on dirty wheels eventually dries out and then there is
the possibility of creating airborne dust, of which we have enough, that
everyone has to breath. Not the best situation.
