I am rather new to working with clay. I have done it for years, but =
never in my own studio. Now that I have my own studio equipment, I am a =
little overwhelmed by the possibilities.
All the learning I have done has been using stoneware and firing to cone =
10. While I like this method and have been using it for a year or more =
on my own, I am feeling a tug to what I have always loved the most about =
clay and that is raku and the pit firing. I want to switch clays from =
the stoneware to the earthenware clay. I just know so little about it. =
I am researching now and have found some information, and will gain =
knowledge as I work with it no doubt, but was hoping for some expert =
advice. =20
