I posted this once before, but it was in the context of another answer so
was probably mostly overlooked...

Oxalic Acid, http://www.britannica.com/seo/o/oxalic-acid/ will when mixed
with water remove rust stains from almost anything it touches. It is used in
many cleaning solutions for removing stains from sinks and tubs. You have
to be cautious though as it is highly toxic when ingested
