Harrison Gallery: Rebekah Wostrel- Resident Solo Artist Exhibition
This exhibit will feature a new body of work characterized by
sparsely detailed, sublime forms.

Second Floor Gallery: Exchanging Views- Artists from the Northern Clay Center
A sister institution, located in Minneapolis MN, shares the goal of
advancement of the ceramic arts and the promotion of excellence in
the work of clay artists. Regional artists will represent Northern
Clay Center in this exhibition and The Clay Studio Resident Artists
will be the focus of an exhibit at the Northern Clay Center in the

Featured Shop Artist: Will Swanson
Well known for his distinctive wood-fired functional vessels, Will
uses a combination of glaze and wood ash to achieve luscious ambers
and beautifully rich reds.


Consolidation Sale

The Clay Studio has been forced to relocate its storage facility and
is using this opportunity to reduce its long term inventory. This
means that many excellent works of art created by artists from around
the world will be available at savings of 40%-50% or even more!!

Come help The Clay Studio and acquire an international masterpiece at
the same time!

WHAT'S GOING ON AROUND THE CLAY STUDIO?

--Visiting Artist, Bai Ming (China) will be presenting a slide
lecture on Wed. March 7, 2001 at 7:00pm on the Second Floor of The
Clay Studio.

--Resident Artists Hide Sadohara and Linda Cordell are co-curating a
show at the Vermont Clay
Studio titled "Two Views of the Cup" April 1-30, 2001.

--Mikal Brutzman will exhibit at Border's Cafe through March.

--Marian MeGee (Associate Artist): Functional Clay March 17- May 4,
2001 at the Spring Mill Cafe Gallery.

--The Claymobile Exhibit Opening at the Woodmere Museum was a
wonderful success!! Kudos to Jen Wankoff, Claymobile Coordinator, who
worked diligently to give us a fabulous exhibit! The exhibit is in
the Helen Millard Children's Gallery and runs through April 1, 2001.

--The Spring classes will be starting April 7, 2001.
