potters in paris

I'll be in Paris in June for a few weeks and wondered
if anyone knew of potters in the city or
vicinity....or of worthwhile galleries, for that
matter. Language isn't a problem, and I'd love to
make contacts with potters there, as I'd love to do an
apprenticeship, or "stage" there in the future.

Thanks,

Hi Dan

I was in Paris a few weeks ago - wonderful city! I went to an event
called Les Journees de la Ceramique, which is a potters' market, fair,
exhibition, everything, held in Place St Sulpice.

If you look at this website:
http://lesjourneesdelaceramiqueparis.over-blog.com/

you will see a list of the exhibitors with addresses and phone
numbers. I confess, I didn't go in search of potters' studios or
shops, but I was only there for 3 days, one of which was at the
Journees, so that's my excuse! There are also some useful links,
scroll down menu on the right to Partenaires.

There's a magazine which might be worth contacting, or getting hold of
a copy, for some inspiration:

Hope this helps.
