glazing pots (personal)

i just finished glazing 83 pots. no mother in law blue.
oh, yes, mugs for nceca. and teabowls for nceca. no mother in law blue.
these are the first pots since the `event`. and it really
feels good to have them all lined up. no icky blue.

i made a batch of rhodes 32, fresh. sifted and strained.
i am going to re/invent myself, just like rock and roll singers, old
tv stars. clay has a nice amount of ochre and `lake superior iron sand`.
(hand sifted from tofte, mn, on the shore.)

on a health note:
i am going to `water aerobics` three days a week, (one hour) and doing
about 20 laps on the other days. one or two days rest.
i hired a cardiologist and had a great meeting and review.
he suggested i have the new `heart scan mri`...man, is that
something. it takes about a minute to scan. you get a complete
cross section computer image of your heart....it shows the coronary
arteries and valves and aortas (up and down), and the entire lung
system. calcium shows pure white. i did fine. no surprises.
a small amount of crapola in the lower part of the lung. not a
surprise after 40 years of clay and kilns.

this test is brand new, it costs cash 395 bucks to take..no insurance.
but, hell, that is the price of a really good tune up on a car. totally
non invasive. all questions answered. in my case, i feel relieved.
things are just fine. my doctor said, `if you can swim 20 laps, then
go home and throw 50 pots and feel good, well, nothing wrong with
you`.

again, i want to thank the many of you that have contacted
me personally. it has meant a great deal. i am back, better
than one hundred percent.

plans are complete
for some wonderful projects that are clayart related. wait and see.
