mason underglaze formula:question

Hi Mark,

Not my recipe and I haven't tried it, but it said by parts - so I assume by
volume. Which makes sense that if you can add 75 parts of the liquid to
it, it must be volume.

The numbers at first made me think it should be grams too, but you could
move the decimal point to the left by one space and make up a batch with
whatever - teaspoon or other measure you would want.

Help:
I got the Mason Underglaze formula recently off the list. It is as
follows:
Components:
F-4 Soda Spar 20
Kaolin 10
Ball Clay 5
Frit (3124) 10
Stain 40
Liquid 75
Liquid Components:
Anti-freeze 1000cc
Water 1000cc
CMC Liquid 500cc

CMC Liquid (30 grams CMC to 1 qt. water)
and let sit for 2 days to break down
I don't quite understand this. The ingredients don't add up to 100 so is it
in percents or grams? Can i just use however many grams the recipe calls for
and however many cc of liquid that it calls for and be ok or do i have to go
by percents. And where it says 75 liquid is it 75% liquid or is it the 2500cc
of combined liquid that it calls for in the liquid components and however
many grams of dry ingredients that it calls for. I'm just not sure of this
recipe. Anyone with any help with this recipe would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely:

Mark,

I made up the liquid componants, like a separate task. Then utilized the
liquid as one ingredient by weight with the rest of it.
