I am looking for a place to learn new hand building techniques in Spain. =
Does anyone know such a place where it is warm during January and =
February??

Dear Ed,
Spain is not necessarily that warm in Feb. and Jan. but sometimes
Cordoba abd Sevilla are nice then. As for the workshop I don't know of
any happening then. Sorry.
I was giving workshops in summers in Agost, Spain in the late 90's but
that is cold in the winter.

If you do not have a specific workshop to go to,
you may have difficulty finding such a set-up. I
am sure Marcia or Francoise M. will be able to
tell you more, but Spain is a bit disappointing
when it comes to contemporary ceramics.

Warmth is relative, but I am afraid there is
nowhere in Spain where you can guarantee warmth
in January and February, except maybe the
extreme south which has mild winters. The 40th
parallel passes through the middle, so it is on
the same latitude as New England. Climate is
temperate with hot summers and cold, wet
winters. They have good skiing too... Something
one does not naturally associate with Spain!
