Thanks everyone for all the info about what I should bring and how
properly I should be dressed for NCECA! I think that probably
Charlotte just might change some of their strict attitudes after
having close to 4000 potters visiting.

Really looking forward to some good weather.

Liz

p.s.
Glazing pots all day, going to get that firing in before NCECA. If
only the weather would behave, all will be well.

I love the posts too about lard, and family customs. Going to do
some ancestral searching myself while down there just inside the Tenn
border i.e. Flagpond. What a name.

If the Adam's Mark keeps that attitude, they'll have little business
in their "sports bar". If they don't mind, I don't.

Here, now! All weather's good. You just want some good WARM
weather. Sometimes we want good COLD weather.

Liz, "Flags" are another name for "Iris" - a flower. Flags in ponds are
what we (my family) called Water Iris; usually yellow, grow wild but are
adaptable to gardens. Very beautiful, and they have a lovely
perfume.
