Tested on light, iron flecked, mid-range stoneware, fired to 1215c, soak =
30 minutes, oxidation.
Receipe
30 EPK Kaolin
21 Whiting
20 Custerspar
15 3134
14 Silica
Resulted in a smooth, matt surface, very nice feel. Small crystals, but =
is recommended that it is cooled slowly for cyrstal growth and I shut =
down the kiln after a soak. But as it is, it is a semi matt that could =
well be tried out for coloring.
Iron flecks showed through as stable specs.
