Dear Clayart,
The NCECA conference operates for the most part
through volunteers. One of the volunteers who has
been helping me over the last few years is unable
to make it this year. I am in need of one more
person to help troubleshoot slide projector and
other A/V problems during the conference. It needs
to be someone who is good with projector and other
things electro-mechanical. In exchange you would
get a conference pass, and a space on my floor at
the Omni unless I can get a second bed.
These are the responsibilities;
Check the setups with me on Thursday and Friday
Mornings before the first presentation.
Man one of the larger rooms throughout the day,
but be available for problems in the smaller
rooms. It may be necessary to roam between two or
three rooms.
Be available during the Keynote, Randall Session
and Saturday Morning to man light switches or
focus projectors.
Instruct presentors on use of the remotes when
necessary.
This is a good position to give you some
experience and exposure to run for the NCECA board
from.
