Greetings, :)

I am trying to find pictures of his work, but after a search on the web I came up with only one meaningful hit. Are there magazines or books which contain his work and what are they?

TIA,

Fabienne

I don't know a particular source to check for his work, but
I do know where I'd check first: the Art Index. Most college
libraries will have this, either the printed version, or the
one on disk. Public libraries may not, but maybe they will.

We sometimes get too dependent on trying to find everything
on the Net. There's still a lot more info in print. There's
quite a bit about Graham Marks out there, among others.

If you look up the name of an artist in the Art Index, you
will get a listing of virtually every article ever written
about (or even peripherally mentioning) that artist, with a
note as to whether the article is illustrated. It will also
list illustrations which don't accompany articles, too.
If your library doesn't carry those periodicals, you can
request the specific article from Inter-Library Loan. (Usually
a photocopy is what you'll get.) Or, you can find out which
other libraries carry the magazine, and go get it, if it's
close by. If you want the original badly enough, you can
often request it from the publisher.

Also, I recall that Graham Marks is on faculty somewhere...
if you can find out where, try that college's resources, too.

Graham Marks quit clay seven or eight years ago, so I expect you will have
the best luck with pre-1992 periodicals. Go to your local university
library, and check every issue of the Art Index from 1980 to 1994. This
valuable resource will cite all appearances in periodicals.
Good luck -

Hey I looked at the library at Alfred this summer and found a book that had
examples of his work from a exhibition. I did not find anything that had a
whole book dedicated to him though. You may see if they do a interlibrary
loan. I don't know him personally but I heard he lives in the Alfred area
now doing acupuncture. Mabey contact him? Also I have a book that is pretty
wide spread called Hands in Clay 3rd ed. by Charlotte F. Speight & John
Toki. It has pictures of him working and some of his work in it. Hippo that
helps

Did you contact Helen Drutt Gallery in Philly?
I think he was showing with her.

I'm pretty sure he was on the cover of Ceramics Monthly.
