TWO RENOWNED ARTISTS GIVE LECTURES...
Judy Chicago
Tuesday, March 27, 2001
5-6:30pm
B1 Meyerson Hall on the UPenn Campus
SW Corner, 34th and Walnut Sts.
"Some artists develop a signature style that they practice throughout
their careers. Not Judy Chicago. Her seminal work as a feminist
artist grows out of her commitment to a content-based art and to her
belief that form, like style, should always follow content. Ms.
Chicago will offer her personal vision of art in highlights of a
forty-year body of work that has provoked extremes of praise and
criticism throughout the world."
Cosponsored by the Dept. of Fine Arts of the Graduate School of Fine
Arts, The Clay Studio, and the Women's Studies Program. Please call
215.573.8280 for more information.
