Dear Ron: I made a stand a year or two ago with Fusion (our provincial
potters organization) that I should be paid to write in the Fusion magazine.
That request was voted down by the board members at the time.. I decided i
would not write for them, if I wasn't paid a fee. I was just asked to write
an article for them and was paid my fee. I am grateful and feel that a small
stand by me will improve the life of potters that make pots and moonlight by
writing articles. Actually what will probably happpen is that those that ask
will get, those that don't , won't. Same with pics, I suspect.
If they want you bad enough, they will find a way to come up with the cash.
See ya down south.
