I am looking for a large steel wax pan like the one Jepson used to offer =
for sale, but no longer have. The dimensions are Approx. 24x2x16(?) =
Does anyone know where I can get one, or have one made or is anyone =
wanting to sell theirs?

Thank you

I bought a similar item when I was in painting class at college - it was called a butcher's tray - perhaps a butcher / kitchen store/ or art supply store?

With these dimensions, it sounds suspiciously like an
old-fashioned candle dipping container to me. Did it
have notches at each end? Even so two inches wide? Are
you sure? I am reading 24" length, 2" wide and 16"
deep/high. Sounds a bit unsafe to me, especially full
of hot wax... But then I am a natural klutz.

Two inches is far too small to be a cooking pot, unless
it was made to boil asparagus in rows!! But, if it can
be long (to cross over two burners on a domestic stove
top) and wider than this, you could try a fish kettle.
But it will only be around 6-8" deep at most. They are
expensive over here, but being stainless steel they are
pretty indestructible and one of those items destined
to be a family heirloom.
