glazed on both sides. Any suggestions?
Dear Tony,
I do not even want to see that S word again.
Now with that off my chest,
At the communal studio we make an easy, cheap bead stringer like this
Take your stoneware and make posts that are thick enough to stand =
solidly up on wider feet. Poke notches in the side down at distances to =
accommodate what you are firing. The notches need to be deep enough to =
support the wire or just go all the way through and let the wires go all =
the way through, sticking out a little on each end. It looks more or =
less like a clay clothes drying line. The wire is Kantrel, do not know =
what it is called other places, but I suppose it element wire.
They have not sagged or anything after many firings, but again the beads =
are small. Maybe your disks are too large to make this method =
practical?
Take care, give us your sun,
Best regards,
Alisa in Denmark
