Got a mechanical (or electrical?) question here. One of my student's parents got
hold of a very old wheel. Says Amaco #1 on the side. It has one speed - too
fast. It's great for centering and that is about all. Any way I can slow this
thing down for them? They can't afford to do much, but the kid is really into clay
and I would love to see her be able to use this thing. My husband said something
about making some kind of electrical box with a dimmer switch, but thought it might
damage the motor. Any ideas? Nita
