Need to design a Form?
Start with a point. Point is timeless and dimensionless. Imagine that =
point as clay. Now imagine=20
that point forming itself into shapes. Record the mechanics of the =
changes wrought by that mental effort in your memory. If necessary, make =
sketches and notes to aid your memory. Recall your mental gymnastics =
when you next sit or stand to make an object from clay.=20

Ivor, your posts always inspire me. Speaking of form, I was able to get a
catalogue of italian glass bottles; I start every day with one of them in
mind; the variations and nuances, and enjoy this excercise to try to
replicate them in clay. I'm now falling in love with form.
