Hello Gary:

I have two blue celadons that are similar in composition to yours and they
both have zero clay in them. I suspend the glazes by adding 3% Hecta
Brite. This is a hectorite material (magnesium alumino silicate) and is
basically the same stuff as macaloid which also comes from hectorite
ore. This will greatly help the powdery nature of the glaze and keep the
glaze on the pot better.

I also ball mill the celadons for about an hour to disperse the iron and
mix the hecta brite well and this also homogenizes the grind of all the
constituents a bit which greatly aids in suspension.
