form judging ...???

Dear antimater,

In giving this some thought, I believe that you were more than a little
confused about the
context of my 'form-critique' post, and that maybe this situation could
benifit from some clearification:

I was recounting a hypothetical situation in which two people are
considering some work, and doing so from their practical knowledge, taste
and
experience and with reciprocal invitation and consent.
This was very general, and derived somewhat from occasions I have
experienced...

I am not so experienced as you in these sort of conversations, and maybe my
'post' sounded trite?

I accept that it had not 'read' well, and that I do not as a rule 'write'
well.

But it could also have been read as lite-hearted and playful...but the
responsibilities
I am willing to assume, for whatever you managed to read into this, will be
influenced by my understanding of your explaination of how, or why it 'set
you off'.

Should you post to the list, we may see as to your 'appreciation', in maybe
more intelligible form, as to your objection to my little 'post'?

Perhaps there was not anything so much 'in' my post, as that you are easliy
set-off by any mention of anyone 'likeing', or not likeing some 'form'?
This was very general 'speech'...is it to you, a sort of 'post-hypnotic'
trigger of some kind?
There is just too much 'charge' there...something seems rather amiss!

Unless you are going through life with some-one-else's "Boot" (dear ol' mom?
or
dad'?) stuck-for-good up your ass ( and my 'guess' is that this may just be
the case?)
maybe your 'explaination' might manage to
proceed without that, by now, perennial element or obsessive allusion in
your 'posts'?

If not, I will manage to be charitible and patient anyway, but there
can only be so much of this 'ass-kicking', kick-ass', 'boot up the ass' and
so on, before one begins to wonder just what need you have for this to be so
constant a theme?

Is it worse sitting down?
Try writing 'standing-up'...maybe that will help.

Or maybe cease exacerbating your injuries with excessive 'novelties' being
introduced into, this presumably 'tender' area of yours?
Just a guess.

You could try and see if your 'pomposity' would fit...it might take both
hands, old-hat to you, or is that where you get it from? Where you keep it
anyway? In and out...?

Well...jus' funnin' ya ol' buddy...he-he-he...

Try as I might, I don't think I can be quite so 'cute' as you!
But I 'will' try, if you like...we could 'do' that.

And for all I know, maybe more than merely 'sometimes'.

So, this was good to get cleared up: do I sound 'pompous' in writing?

Now, just what did you find in this that was so powerful to you?

Had you some sphincter spasms from all the 'boots' ( and what-not-else)
that you carry up there?
Sympathetically induced (presumably 'non-orgasmic' spasms?) at the mention
of 'form'?

Affecting your 'temperament' are they?
Feeling tense?

Subject: form judging

While most of you guys were out playing with snakes....Ivor and myself
were getting in to the topic of forms...I think we decided it was a purely
personal thing...This judging of forms.....I think we decided good and bad
form didn't exist except in the mind of one....
We did decide that technical considerations were the only reasonable
targets for wits who would say, "I don't like the form"...Then PT threw the
whole thing in the gutter and got me in more troubleHEHEHEHE
The person that makes fat bottoms might like fat bottoms at that stage
of their development....It is likely that if they love clay and continue to
work in clay they will decide they would rather make thin bottoms.....I
don't think they will require someone's BIG FAT OPINION to get them to
arrive at the decision....My daughter used to color what I thought were the
ugliest pictures....Do you even think I EVER told her, "Damn that's
ugly"??????....I have a fine tuned sense of aesthetics....but if I feel I do
not care for something...I would not attempt to stop the maker from making
it....I would be more likely to encourage them to make more....Then if they
don't open their own eyes to my way of thinking ....they might end up named
Volkous....Besides when ever some schmuck(HEHEHE) has told me, "I don't like
your forms"....I have usually felt like letting them carry my boot form
around for a while...It has, I'm sure, caused me to hang on to forms longer,
rather than discard them from my bag of tricks....
If they were suffering from lack of technical knowledge and I could not
help them out...I would be looking it up myself.
A valid useful critique would consist of technical help and lots of
praise.....If praise seems foreign to you then your are really barking up
the wrong tree....You snake handling dogs

BTW mel said he wanted me to sign posts with my name....Well Rush is my
professional name, sort of like my brother puts Dr. in front of his
name.....Don is what my personal friends call me...I guess I'll have to pick
and choose on here
