My results were very different from Andie's, but then I was using a very
different clay. I got a yellow-green glaze which does look like an ash
glaze, complete with the runnels ending in greenish globby areas. I know
this sounds rather unappetizing, however it's quite attractive in person.
There are a few pinholes at the ends of the globs, one of who's number made
it all the way to the shelf. However, I think this is a great glaze for
those of us who like ash glazes and don't get to fire in wood kilns.
