The original recipe, as posted by Alisa, called for Tin, 2%. I was all out
of tin, so I used Zircopax 4%. Like her, I got a semi-matte glaze. Alisa got
a yellow matte ground where the glaze was thin. I got fairly uniform color,
but so light as to be more of a cool white than a turquoise. Possibly this
is because I used zircopax rather than tin, however I don't care for the
"hand" of this glaze enough to go on to trying tin instead, or more copper,
or other colorants. My sample is covered with very tiny pinholes, so I don't
think I'll go any farther with this one.
