I tried a different version of Ron's Black some time ago and got a
disappointing dark brown. A nicely melted and surfaced dark brown, but not
what I was looking for. John H. notes in his commentary of this glaze (
www.frogpondpottery.com ) that the increase of cobalt worked well, and I
agree with him.

I got a gorgeous shiny black, black, black. Thanks, Ron and John!
