I got this glaze from John H's site ( www.frogpondpottery.com ). It's been
tested for stability--if you'd like the particulars, please visit and
peruse.
I got this glaze too thin on most of my test bowl, but a few places on the
inside, where drips drooped from the rim, show a beautiful variegated
turquoise green. Will try again with less water or an extra dip. Dry matte
where thin, satin where the color shows.

I use this glaze alot on non-food surfaces. The original directions with
this glaze indicated that it must be brushed on to get the best results and I
have discovered that this is true. AND it is not easy to brush even with
brushing media added. But it does give a beautiful verdigri color, when
applied right. It also has the bad habit of running if not fettled well.
Have made many yard lanterns and bells with this glaze.
