To Wesley Rolley

Wes,

Richard Zakin's "Electric Kiln Ceramics: A Guide to Clays and Glazes" (1994)
is an excellent book for both glazing and firing.

Costs of electric firings have never matched gas firings. With recent
hikes in energy rates, the gap is even wider. Improved ceramic materials
are available for protection (ITC) or insulation.

Is there any book on electric kiln firing and operation that is more recent
than the 1994 ediiton of Fraser's "The Electric Kiln"? What would you
recommend?
