I built a car for my gas kiln rebuild last year. I like the
track system my welder got me to use: One regular angle iron
track and one flat track which is wider than the wheels. On the
flat track side the wheels are built up so the car stands level.
So the angle iron track guides the car in straight, but there's
no danger of binding. The welder said it was easier to build.
Also I see no reason to attach the door to the car. I had an
existing fiber door that rolls on barn door rollers. I kept the
car separate, and like being able to open the door a crack
without moving the car too. The MFT cork system is great.
Jennifer going to sit outside and watch the snow melt....
