I have a classic oak antique
treadle wheel for sale.
I am asking $500 or will be willing
to trade it for a brent or bailey
wheel (I need a portable wheel for
some school demos I am doing).
I am in a suburb north of Detroit,
Michigan USA and the wheel will
need to be picked up. It's too
heavy and awkward to ship.
You can see pictures of it here

John,
I am trying to build a treadle wheel and would be VERY interested in yours
(I live in London Ontario) but for one thing. I too need a portable wheel
for demos. The demos I do however are in historic sites and so I can't use
an electric. I do have a big old kick wheel that I am using at home but have
never been on a treadle.
Please tell me....in which direction does your left foot travel when
treadling? Is it and up and down, front to back or side to side motion?
I printed out the pics of your wheel and hope they will be helpful when I am
making mine.
Thanks for that.
