Glaze #1(white) and Glaze # 2(oatmeal) are exactly the same EXCEPT for th=
e
addition of 4% rutile to glaze #2.
I'm having difficulty getting a green slip to work under glaze #1...coppe=
r
is the only colourant that gives me green. Chrome goes tan coloured. The
green from the copper when mixed with Robin Hoppers Slip( which I use for
all the other slip colours I use ) gives me green but its all streaky.I g=
et
beautiful blues under this glaze(cobalt) but no luck with greens.

Glaze #2 with the rutile added gives beautiful greens ( cobalt goes green=
,
I assume due to the rutile) but blues are totally elusive.

Of course what I want is a nice green under Glaze#1 and a nice blue under
glaze#2!!

I've searched the archives extensively but have had no luck in finding a
slip recipe that uses copper as its colourant and I have no idea how to
even get close to a blue under the other if cobalt won't do it! Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't want to change the glazes I use as these two work great over all
the other slip colours I've developed and they are great glazes in all
other ways.
