naked, single or raw fire folk list-where are you?

For those of you interested, I am compiling a list of
single fire artists. Perhaps I will write a book some
day since there is only 1 and half books out there
that I am aware of--assuming some of the more
experienced single fire artists don't beat me to it.

If you would like to send your name, temp range, and
clay body types, and stage in which you glaze leather
or bone dry, much would be appreciated along with
address to my email list. Since fine folk like Steven
Hill and Fran Tristram (and others)seem to further be
carrying the mantle of single firing, I hope to do the
same. Should I commit to writing a book, I will be
looking to include artists and examples of their work,
clay bodies, glazes, etc. in various temp ranges and
traditions. Thank you!

just wanted to post this as a public encouragement to all who might reply=

I have seen a number of questions about single firing get short answers, =

none at all. I have also seen differing opinions (not the hard facts tha=
t
Ivor likes) about such isues as glazing at leather hard or bone dry stage=
s.
Maybe this effort will lead to gaining some real knowledge about the bes=
t
practices for single firing.

Personally, I have never bisque fired in my life and do not intend to sta=
rt
unless there is a practical need for a particular outcome that can not be
achieved any other way. I think that the heat work involved in a bisque
fire is a waste of enegy for doing the type of things that I want to do:
simple forms; runny, ash based glazes, etc.

What a great idea.... can't wait to get it!
I would think with the energy crunch we are now
experiencing a book on single firing is just what we need!
