I'm studying pottery in year 11 at college and want to experiment with so=
me dry glazes. I'm looking for recipes to try out- dry glazes not just m=
atte glazes. I'm wanting to try out their application on various forms a=
nd textures. I'd like to start with purple/blue colours but will do some=
line blends to try other colours. Dry galze recipes often include bariu=
m carbonate which is toxic so if anyone has any dry recipes which are not=
toxic that would be great too.

Perhaps start with an alumina base...
think kiln wash and move forward for a dry glaze.
Then you don't need barium.
