On my trip to the real outside world I bought at Kitchen etc. a Braun
coffee grinder for 9.99 and will go and grind pieces I am sifting before
I measure,I have all my poopy pots and residuals glued and am taking a
break before I mix glazes..According to Don Holloway you should dry
sift...I will give the flu at least 3 house to dry then glaze...I am
waiting for the metal holders for my sitter as I was told they need to
be changed since I will not have them in time I will sit by the kiln in
the garage and try to catch the button as the sitter goes off....I am
waiting for Arnold Howard to call me to change the temperature from 2325
to 2310..as 2325 both the large witness cones (9 & 10) were completely
melted to the shelf at 2325..Thats is why I think the 11 (small cone )
in the sitter shut the kiln off..If anyone has other suggestions Please
feel free to help LOts o help on the zinc problem.....Why is the metal
holder on the zinc no longer good They are not bent or broken ..My
husband the Chemical Engineer say it should still work..but am
following Arnolds advise will let you all know if my load is finally
okay..Had to run and get squeezed in for massage( my hands were numb the
last 2 morning when I woke up and my lower back screemed....Tough these
days to be a potter..Ilene in Conn

I ment glue Someone called me a princess as I was getting the massage I
would like t o meet princesses that put in 14 hour days when glazing
load and getting ready to fire...I wish I had an ouside studio (from the
house) so I would work smarter and put in shorter days when
working..Ilene will fire when I wake up
