I also have to chime in to the several emails already
sent about the Clennel Workshop at the Creative Oasis
in State College, PA on April 27 and 28.
The folks at Creative could not have been more gracious.
Tony and Sheila are two really fine people with a healthy attitude
about their craft and business.
I thought I was going to the workshop to learn about making
big pots and cane handles. I learned about those things
and many more as we all watched Tony and Sheila work.
State College is a great town. Our hotel was a 3 minute walk to
the studio. The people in the town are friendly and helpful
(this is a big deal when you live in the Northeast and are
mostly serviced by sullen teenagers).
If you go to Creative Oasis for a workshop (which I would
highly recommend), also be sure to visit the Creamery and Meyers
Dairy for ice cream!
