Hi group,
I haven't "spoken" to you in awhile, just been
readin'!
I need some help -- have developed tendonitis in my
elbow (medial, if anyone is interested) and been told
to rest it for at least 2 weeks. Not an option for
me, since my cat refuses to pay the (newly acquired)
mortgage payment. A friend here has loaned me her
slabroller (I do sculptures constructed from slabs)
which has been a big help. Unfortunately hers is a
Brent using shims and since I do multiple passes, it
hasn't been as much of a help as it could be if I had
a nice Bailey with the setting option.
So, to wind this up, I REALLY need a "shimless" used
slab roller. This being my slow time of year, I don't
have an extra thousand dollars+ for a new one. I live
in Gualala (paradise, if you haven't been here) CA.
I'm on the coast in the redwoods just south of
Mendocino, so pretty much anywhere in the Bay
Area/n.Cal. would be do-able in terms of picking it
up.
I know it's very hard to find good used slabrollers
... just thought I'd put this out there and see if
anyone on this list could help.
