I just wanted to announce that we still have two openings in the Liz
Quackenbush workshop. (This is for a full paying student not work/study =
or
studio assistant. Those positions are full.)
Session One--May 27-June 8 (two weeks)
Liz Quackenbush--Forms, Functions, & Surfaces
This class will explore handbuilding and decorating functional and
nonfunctional forms. Students will be encouraged to draw from personal
interests and insights to discover a formal and decorative vocabulary tha=
t
is uniquely their own. We will use low-fire terra-cotta clay and
traditional European glazing techniques, including slip decorating and
majolica. Previous handbuilding or throwing experience required.
Assistant Professor at PA State University; other teaching: University of
